Cracco Portofino opens in 2021, where the historical Pitosforo restaurant once used to stand. An architectural project with attention to the smallest details by Studio Peregalli of Milan, which was able to masterfully preserve the original magic of the place.

A destination that was a point of reference in the life of this magical Italian town since the 1950s, thanks to a strategic position overlooking the small port with its breathtaking view of the famous “piazzetta” and the Gulf of Tigullio.

A sophisticated and at the same time simple and fresh atmosphere, capable of being charming both in the golden light of the day and in the soft light of the evening.

Rock, stone, wood, straw, bamboo, but also mirrors, glass and ceramics: these are the materials that create aharmonious correspondence between this place and the surrounding area: it’s like living inside a postcard.

Until September 30, Carlo Cracco brings Guatemala to Portofino

After the success in Milan with Zacapa Galería, the collaboration between the chef and the Guatemalan rum, among the world’s most popular. 

A combination of taste and style that inaugurates the aperitif on the terrace of the most striking restaurant in the famous “little square.”

A breathtaking view to be accompanied by new Zacapa cocktails paired with a proposal created by the chef inspired by the magical Guatemalan land.

Mixology and haute gastronomy thus meet in one of Italy’s most iconic views to be enjoyed while also sipping a smooth Zacapa 23 and discovering its most refined and intense notes for an unforgettable experience of luxury and elegance.

Cracco Portofino is more than a restaurant.

A project that places nature at the centre, narrating that journey that goes from the land to theconception up to the creation of the recipe. We want to tell you the story of the raw materials that best represent us and that we self-produce in an enchanted place on the mountains: lva’s vegetable garden. Here our Chef Mattia Pecis, with the help ofMrs. Iva, cultivates the first fruits that are brought to the table.

We choose to work only with fish from the Gulf of Tigullio, not only for a sustainable choice, but also to give value to the context in which we live. We do always the best we can, with what we have at hand and with what most defines who we are.

The Kitchen

The menu is entrusted to Chef Mattia Pecis, a young talent who grew up in the team of the Cracco restaurant and who under the guidance of Chef Carlo Cracco proposes a responsible research path, bringing to the table the best that the land has to offer.

There are also Chef Cracco’s iconic dishes reinterpreted in a Ligurian key: the Caramelised Russian Salad, the marinatedegg yolk, the “Preboggion”, the Pansoti prepared by hand and the Purple Shrimp from Santa Margherita Ligure.

The menu is entrusted to Chef Mattia Pecis, a young talent who grew up in the team of the Cracco restaurant and who under the guidance of Chef Carlo Cracco proposes a responsible research path, bringing to the table the best that the land has to offer.

The Menu features Chef Cracco’s iconic dishes reinterpreted from a Ligurian perspective: the Caramelized Russian Salad, marinated egg yolk, “Preboggion,” hand-prepared Pansoti, and Santa Margherita Ligure Purple Prawn.

Our cellar has over 800 labels from all over the world, without forgetting the small producers who skilfully work the land that hosts us, from West to East.

Since 2022 it has been awarded the “Best Award” by Wine Spectator.

The Cellar is supplied weekly by our mother cellar in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan, which has been awarded the Grand Award by Wine Spectator for over three years.
